ROSENCRANTZ
& GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD
Alumni Hannah Steblay
is the assistant director for Theatre in the Round's production of Rosencrantz &
Guildenstern Are Dead, in which she will also
appear as Ophelia. Alumni Connor Bohne will appear as Rosencrantz (or is it Guildenstern?). Deconstructed narratives are only fun when their
farces: Take a look at Hamlet
from the viewpoint of its minor characters, the college chums of the
Prince of Denmark.

| PROOF
Alumna and Artistic Director Ellen Fenster directs Proof for the Phoenix Theater Project. After the death of her father, Catherine is left to pull together her
own life; a life that was set aside to care for her ailing father, a
famous mathematician. She must deal with his legacy; hundreds of
notebooks that most likely hold the ramblings of a man slowly losing his
genius, but may reveal the last great work of a brilliant mind. Now
she is forced to face her own life and can no longer avoid her possible
inheritance; genius or insanity. People's Center Theater September 10th - September 25th, 2010 |

FULLY COMMITTED
Starring alumni Nathan
Keepers. Fully Committed
is a devastatingly funny play about a day in the life of Sam
Peliczowski, an out-of-work actor who mans the red-hot reservation line
at Manhattan’s number-one restaurant. While juggling scheming
socialites, name-dropping wannabes, fickle celebrities and egomaniacal
bosses, can Sam manage to make it home for the holidays?

OPUS
A celebrated
string quartet has their backs against a wall on the eve of their White
House debut. They’ve had to replace their violist with gifted,
inexperienced Grace, who’s never played Beethoven's difficult Opus
131. Opus
explores the power and pettiness of collaboration... and what a girl's
gotta do to play with the big boys.
Alumni Emily Gunyou
Halaas stars as Grace in Park Square Theater's area
premiere.

INSTITUTIONS
This section is dedicated to
the South High Theater alumni who have become part of institutions for
theater, film, or the arts. As we all know, there's more to theater
than just the performers up on stage. This is our way of acknowledging
more than just the tip of the iceberg and recognizing the many
accomplishments and achievements of our South High Theater alumni. (In
general, the idea is that if you're contributing creatively to a
specific show -- acting, directing, editing, designing, stage managing,
writing, or the like -- the show will be spotlighted up above. But if
you're on the board or own the company or running the theater's box
office, this is the place for it.)
