THEATER AND FILM
SHIPWRECKED!
Alumna
Emily Gunyou
Halaas is part for the ensemble cast for Shipwrecked! An Entertainment
at the Jungle Theater (the production formerly known as Around the World in 80 Days).
Pulitzer Prize-winning
playwright Donald
Margulies’ wonderfully entertaining new play explores the seductive
power of the tall tale and the desperate need that drives the
taleteller. Flying wombats, giant sea turtles, and a monstrous
man-eating octopus all add up to hijinks and adventure—Jungle-style!
“What does a man leave behind but his name and the story he told?” Sail
away with us on a theatrical adventure into the wilderness that lies
between truth and fiction!

INSTITUTIONS
This section is dedicated to
the South High Theater alumni who have become part of institutions for
theater, film, or the arts. As we all know, there's more to theater
than just the performers up on stage. This is our way of acknowledging
more than just the tip of the iceberg and recognizing the many
accomplishments and achievements of our South High Theater alumni. (In
general, the idea is that if you're contributing creatively to a
specific show -- acting, directing, editing, designing, stage managing,
writing, or the like -- the show will be spotlighted up above. But if
you're on the board or own the company or running the theater's box
office, this is the place for it.)

del Pueblo maintains several educational tours, including Echoes
from the New World, Manzi: The Adventures of Young
Cesar Chavez, Help Wanted, The Great Cheese Adventures in Mexico,
